According to various sources Lokomotiv entered into a contract with Italian physician Vincenzo Pinkolini. Despite having more than 4 months left on his contract with Dynamo Kiev, both parties came to a mutual agreement to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Knowing about the possiblity to re-join his former college Yury Semin, Pinkolini wasted no time and soon entered into negotations with the Railwaymen. Although not yet official, it is believed that Pinkolini agreed to join Lokomotiv and thus, together with Oleg Pashinin he will be responsible for the physichal preparation of the Loko players.
It's Official - Pinkolini joined Lokomotiv. The 55 year old journeyman started his career at Parma in 1981. After 5 years he joined Milan. In 1999 he left Italy for Spain (Atletico Madrid), but within a year he returned to Italy, this time to Roma. A year after, Vincenzo went again northward with Inter and for the forth time in a row, he left the club after just one year, this time by crossing the city of Milan to AC Milan. His two years at Milan were followed by three years in Parma. Pinkolini left the Italian shores yet again and this time opted for a completly new experience, Kiev being his destination. After two years with Dynamo, Pinkolini moved yet again, this time to LOKOMOTIV! Welcome at Lokomotiv!! All the best!! Furthermore, his CV is also decorated with two spells with the Italian National Team, precisely at the World Cup of 1994 and 1998.
