Loko move for Aliev

According to http://www.fclokomotiv.com/, Lokomotiv have enquired Dynamo Kiev about 24 year old midfielder Olexandr Aliev. On the word of the same site the Railwaymen are ready to pay over 8million euros for the Ukranian ace. Recall that Lokomotiv were interested in acquiring Aliev on the appointment of Semin. However soon Loko ended up any interest in Aliev and instead tried to lure Lokomotiv fan-favourite Marat Izmailov back to Moscow. Unfortunately the price asked by Sporting Lisbon proved to be a stumbling block and thus for the time being, any potential transfer of Izmailov is practically impossible.

Thus, knowing that bringing a playmaker is a must, Semin renewed his interest in Aliev. In my view Aliev would be an excellent acquisition. He will for sure become our new Loskov. Actually his playing style is almost identical to that of Loskov. The fact that Semin knows well Aliev, owing to the 18 months they spent together at Dynamo Kiev is a bonus. Unfortunately, despite Semin persistance to bring the player, the Lokomotiv board seems to be a little bit reluctant to fork out some money in order to finalise the deal. I just hope that the Lokomotiv board allocate the required amount and see Aliev in red-green colours before long!! It would be just a really excellent transfer coup, something which we, Loko fans, haven't experienced for ages. In my opinion Torbinsky's transfer from Spartak was the last one! Forza "Lakamatifff"!!
