Lokomotiv looking to Florescu and Šćepović

According to various reports emanating from Romania, Lokomotiv Moscow are closing on the signature of Gheorghe Florescu. The media reported that the talks with the midfielder are at an advanced stage and it is likely that in 2011, the diminutive Romanian international could be wearing the red-green Puma shirt of Lokomotiv. Although this rumour was confirmed by the former Torpedo Moscow man himself, he stated that the deal is far from done and actually Lokomotiv Moscow aren't the only "big club" that are following his signature. He made use of such term because currently he plies his trade for Alania Vladikavkaz and he already made it known that he is eager to move on to a bigger club.

Throughout his career, the 26-year old Cluj-Napoca born turned out for Universitatea Cluj, Sheriff Tiraspol, Torpedo Moscow, Midtjylland and finally Alania Vladikazkaz. He made his debut for Romania last March and to date he made 7 appearances and scored a goal.

In addition to the Romanian, Lokomotiv Moscow are also looking to Marko Šćepović, a 19 year old striker who currently plays for Partizan Belgrade. This is because the striker, with his 1.89m enjoys impressive aerial ability and often drops deeper to start an attack. Moreover the Belgrade born youngster also possesses a keen positional sense and an extremly powerful shot. It is believed that the striker will command a fee of around 600k euros.

Moreover, apart of his impressive performances for the men in black, the striker managed to find the net 5 times in 6 outings for the Serbian U-19 national team. Certainly a one for the future!
